First Chimney Fire of the Season
November 9th, 2004
A small chimney fire greeted the members of Gainesboro early Tuesday morning. At 0756 the call for the first due chimney fire at 512 Cedar Grove Road was dispatched. Engine 16 and Tanker 16 responded and handled the call with assistance from Engine 15 (Round Hill). A small chimney fire was found without any extension. A small fire, but the first of whats sure to be many throughout the winter.
 

Small Garage Fire with Exposure
November 7th, 2004
At 0145 units were dispatched to the Sunnyside area in Company 15's (Round Hill) first due. Gainesboro was third due and responded with Wagon 16. Engine 15 arrived to find a small garage fully involved with an immediate exposure on the "B" side. Engine 15 was supplied by Engine 5 (South End). Wagon 16 was abandoned and the personnel assisted with overhaul. Chief 16 had command. Units were in service at 0349.
